The Physicians of Access Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics are pleased to announce the addition of Sonya R. Justus, PA-C to their practice.

Sonya is a Physician Assistant with experience in both orthopaedics and general practice medicine. Sonya studied at Ohio State University and she graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Kettering College of the Medical Arts. She completed her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in April 2010. Prior to receiving her certification as a Physician Assistant she worked in an emergency room and trauma setting as a suture and orthopedic technician. She has significant experience with casting, splinting and suturing and has been an educator in a hospital setting.

Sonya comes to Access with experience in orthopaedic surgery and has most recently practiced at the Bowdoin College Health Center in Brunswick, ME. She has worked abroad in the United Kingdom for the National Health System and has also worked for the Indian Health Services. Sonya is licensed to practice in both Maine and New Hampshire and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
