The Physicians of Access Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics are
pleased to announce the addition of Daniel S. Zipin, DO to their
practice. Dr. Zipin is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
physician fellowship trained in Interventional Spine Physiatry.
Dr. Zipin received his undergraduate degree from Colby College
where he studied Biology and Anthropology. He graduated from medical
school as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of
New England.
Dr. Zipin
completed his residency at The Boston Medical Center at Boston
University and was fellowship trained in Interventional Spine
and Musculoskeletal Medicine at Integrated Pain Management in
Walnut Creek, California. He was a 2008 recipient of the Essential
Scholarship from the American Academy of Pain Medicine and has
contributed to numerous publications on physical medicine and
rehabilitation over the past several years.
Dr. Zipin
is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American
Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Association
of Academic Physiatrists among many other professional memberships.
Dr. Zipin
specializes in the evaluation and management of back pain, non-operative
spine care and musculoskeletal medicine. His areas of expertise
include the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries
and pain syndromes, interventional spine procedures and electrodiagnostic
medicine. Dr. Zipin joins the physicians and other allied health
professionals that make up Access Spine Care, an innovative new
program offering a comprehensive team approach towards the treatment
of disorders and injuries of the Spine.
