Sonya R. Justus, PA-C

Sonya R. Justus, PA-C is a Physician Assistant with experience in both orthopaedics and general practice medicine. Sonya studied at Ohio State University and she graduated Cum Laude in 2004 with her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Kettering College of the Medical Arts.  She continued on to complete her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2010. Prior to receiving her certification as a Physician Assistant she worked in an emergency room and trauma setting as a suture and orthopedic technician. She has significant experience with casting, splinting and suturing and has been an educator in a hospital setting.

Prior to joining Access Sports Medicine Sonya practiced at the Bowdoin College Health Center in Brunswick, ME. She has also worked abroad in the United Kingdom for the National Health System and for the Indian Health Services. Sonya is licensed to practice in both Maine and New Hampshire and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
