Access Sports Medicine’s Functional Training and Fitness Center currently offers the following training and fitness classes for athletes of all skill levels and abilities.

Fierce Athlete

Coach: Craig Favara, CPT

Monday – Thursday:
7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

$275 per month (max 15 athletes)
$25 for drop-in

The Fierce Athlete program is designed to teach athletes the training principles needed when designing a program for different types of strength training and how to identify when a program needs to be assessed and changed. Sports specific movements will be dissected and broken down to make sure the athlete understands how to fully execute each movement. This 90-minute class includes resistance training coupled with agility work and soft tissue cool down.

Fierce Athlete Junior (Ages 8-13)

Coach: Lauren Tarpey, ATC

Mondays and Wednesdays: 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

$275 per month (max 15 athletes)
$25 for drop-in

This beginner class will go over fundamental athletic movements with extensive detail on cueing and technique. Sports specific movements will be broken down at a slower pace to ensure the student athlete has a clear understanding of how to increase athletic performance.

Boot Camp

Coaches: Craig Favara, Nicole Spaulding and Dan Randlett

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Monday – Thursday: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

$120 per month
$20 for drop-in

Boot Camp is a high-energy metabolic class that is designed to burn a massive amount of calories and create a bullet proof core. Boot Camp offers a variety of workouts (Tabata, Stations, Descending pyramids, Partner training, Kettle bells, etc.) to challenge the athlete. This 60-minute class will take you through 50 minutes of conditioning followed by 10 minutes of flexibility. Boot Camp is held in a group setting with encouragement and support. Whether you’re a seasoned vet or a newcomer, Boot Camp will challenge you and improve your fitness level!

Sport Speed and Speed Mechanics

Coach: Dan Randlett, MAT

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

$120 per month
$20 for drop-in

This class focuses on improving running and movement techniques to help enhance movement efficiency for all sports. Students perform plyometric exercises and running/movement drills to help create a faster athlete!
