Anthony Ippolito, DO, is a Board Certified Rheumatologist trained in treating a wide array of musculoskeletal disorders with a particular focus on autoimmune diseases. Dr. Ippolito specializes in systemic lupus erythematosus (Lupus), but also has expertise in caring for patients with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, Sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, vasculitis, myositis, gout, and osteoporosis.

Dr. Ippolito graduated with his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. After residency, Dr. Ippolito completed specialized training as a Lupus Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University Hospital and then went on to complete his Rheumatology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. He is also the Director of the Osteoporosis Program here at Access.
