Jane Yoon, M.D. specializes in fractures of the hand, wrist, and elbow. Her expertise extends to arthritis care and the treatment of tendon and nerve injuries of the upper extremity. She is also skilled in orthopaedic bio skills, and splinting and casting techniques.

Dr. Yoon is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

In 2017, she earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her residency at Saint Louis University Hospital in 2022, where she received the Excellence in Professionalism Award. During her time as a counselor for the Stanford Medical Youth Science Program, Dr. Yoon developed a curriculum aimed at teaching underprivileged high school students about health disparities. She was also selected to work as an intern for the Office of the Surgeon General, where she developed a program to train U.S. Public Health Service Offices to effectively deliver public health services to underserved areas.

Dr. Yoon’s research experience includes quality improvement studies to reduce contamination from lead garments worn in operating rooms, examining health disparity among races, and neurologic sciences. Many of her studies have since been published, contributing to the body of knowledge in her field.

She holds a Florida Medical License, acquired in 2022, and has passed part 1 of the ABOS Board Certification Exam. Fluent in Korean and proficient in Spanish, Dr. Yoon has co-authored various medical articles throughout her career.

Her passion for expanding educational opportunities for underserved communities showcases her outstanding character. Her contributions to various underprivileged communities through her expertise significantly impacted many young lives, inspiring her to continue that work today.
