Christopher Lonegan, DO is a Board Certified Family Practice Physician with a Certificate of
Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He orthopeadicspecializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all non-operative sports injuries. His areas of expertise include musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnosis and injection, platelet-rich plasma therapy, concussion management utilizing ImPACT neurocognitive testing, post-concussion syndrome treatment and overuse injuries.  Dr. Lonegan is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine<https://www.amssm.org/> and the American Academy of Family Physicians<https://www.aafp.org/home.html>.

Dr. Lonegan graduated cum laude from St. Lawrence University with his Bachelor of Science in Biology and received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England. He completed his residency training in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Kent Hospital, Warwick RI, then completed his fellowship year in Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Lonegan oversees the Athletic Training program at Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics and is the Assistant Director of the Concussion Management Program.
Dr. Lonegan enjoys outdoor activities such as surfing, skiing, soccer and hiking.
