Michael T. LeGeyt, MD is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand (CAQSH). Prior to joining Access Sports Medicine, he was the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at the New Britain and Bradley Memorial Campus.
Dr. LeGeyt earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut and completed his residency in both Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey.
During his postgraduate residency, Dr. LeGeyt was awarded “Best Clinical Research” at the Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education Annual Research Colloquium. He completed his fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
Currently, Dr. LeGeyt is studying for his Master of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts.
