Dear Access Sports Medicine,
I was always in what I considered to be decent physical shape and tried to maintain an active lifestyle but as I’ve gotten older, my body has changed. I went to Access Sports Medicine late last year to address bilateral shoulder injuries that became worse over time and I completed a physical therapy regimen that included exercises at home and at the gym. My physical therapist provided me with a flyer for a free fitness consultation with Craig Favara at Access Acceleration in response to my desire to build off my PT work to get in better shape overall.
I met with Craig to assess my strengths and areas to work on. We began working together in individual training sessions that worked my entire body. Craig showed me how to use core strengthening exercises and how to work several muscle groups simultaneously, taught methods for exercising and using gym equipment properly and efficiently and developed “off day” workouts for me to use in my own gym and at home. He focused on simple lifestyle changes pertaining to diet and exercise that I easily incorporated into my daily routine. As a result, I started seeing gains immediately and continue to see gains each week. I feel great physically and mentally, I’ve lost 15 lbs. but have become stronger, my core has never been tighter (I have working abs!), I no longer have the nagging aches and pains that I once had, and people tell me how good I look. As an offshoot to our work and to challenge myself further, I began running for the first time in my life and have run some 5K’s and have worked with Craig to increase my running endurance and speed.
Craig Favara and Access Acceleration have provided me with the knowledge, direction, and support to realize my fitness and health goals. I am very grateful to Craig for his guidance and will continue to apply these principles in my daily life and would recommend him to anyone seeking to improve his/her physical and mental health.

I had a meniscus repair done with Dr. Siegel about six weeks ago.
For the last month I have been having PT twice a week with Michelle. I have to say that Michelle has been fantastic. She kept things interesting, challenged me, explained things, and kept things light with a good sense of humor.
But my real reason for writing this letter is to compliment Jerry, the PT aid. Jerry was the one who would get me started on the bike and finish up my visit with the application of the icing machine. Jerry’s demeanor is amazing. He is upbeat, funny and polite, with a caring nature that really show through. I really felt that he cared that I was having a good experience, and was prepared to do whatever he could if I wasn’t. He was constantly moving, helping someone, cleaning up, putting something away, looking to see who needs help, etc. I never saw him sitting around.
He seemed to have a good rapport with all of the therapists and seemed to know all of the patients by name, which he used when greeting them, joking with them or just helping them with a therapy they were engaged in.
I found myself looking forward to PT, because the environment was so pleasant, in that everyone seemed to work as a team.
Thanks so much for running a well oiled machine.

I honestly could not recommend Dr. Davis more. Being a female in the military, hip issues are very common…. I was told by 3 different orthopedic doctors that I just needed to rest and ice my hips. So I did, for years. When I found Dr. Davis for my 4th consult I was prepared for him to also brush me off. He listened to me right away, ordered the correct imaging and found that I needed surgery. He truly saved me, mentally and physically from being in the pain I was in.

I feel like I’m in great hands with Dr. Davis I have nothing but respect for him. He has been a huge part of my healing journey this year and has helped me feel confident in regaining my ability to get back to living an active lifestyle. Thank you for all your help thus far, and moving forward, Dr. Davis.

Dear Access Sports Medicine,
I am writing to tell you how pleased I have been with the services you provide. I have had the opportunity (unfortunately!) to visit three of your four offices multiple times with three out of four of my family members over the last several years! While I live in the Newburyport, MA area, I have continued to seek services through your practice because of the excellent care we have received there. Your employees are a pleasure to deal with from first contact on the phone through the D/C following the wrap up of care. I have found it consistently easy to get an appointment when we need one and have found all the staff flexible and friendly.
Most recently, my son, Spencer, was being seen by Sonya Justus, who cared for him through several broken bones and misdiagnoses. On his first appointment following a ski vacation in Colorado where we received a misdiagnosis, Sonya took the time to sort out my son’s diagnoses and various stages of injury. (He had 2 pre-existing wrist fractures as well!) We spent an extended time in the office, but Sonya and the other staff took the time we needed to sort out a complicated scenario. Throughout the 3 visits Spencer had with Sonya, I was extremely impressed with her thoroughness, but more importantly with her interpersonal skills. She treated both my son and me with immense respect and humor, explaining the situation in terms easily understood by my son. She listened and empowered Spencer to take an active role in caring for his body. Through her interactions she communicated that she valued his input and trusted his judgments with regard to his health. This is a really powerful message for a 14 year old!
Please forward this message on to Sonya, the managing partners and others who would be interested in hearing about a job well done. While I have singled Sonya out for her exemplary care, compliments are due to your entire practice.
With regards and thanks,
