Amanda Canning, ATCPlaistow, NH – Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics would like to thank the Timberlane Regional School District for giving us the opportunity to provide Athletic Training services for the 2013-14 school year.  Athletic Trainers play an important role on the sidelines at any youth athletic event.  They are often the first responders in the event of an injury and are responsible for determining an athlete’s safe return to play.

Our experienced trainers are dedicated health care professionals who are highly-skilled to respond quickly and calmly when injuries occur.  With the backing of our team of sports medicine physicians, Dr. Joshua Siegel, Dr. David Davis and Dr. Kevin Heaton, our trainers are able to consult regularly on injury management, treatment protocols and decision making on return to play.  Our physicians will also provide home football game coverage and regularly scheduled clinics in the Timberlane Regional High School Athletic Training room.

We are excited to introduce Amanda Canning, ATC as the new Head Athletic Trainer at Timberlane Regional High School.  Amanda comes to Timberlane with experience as the Head Trainer at Nashua North High School for the past seven years.  During her time at Nashua North, Amanda was responsible for the care of 45 teams and developed several new programs for the Athletic Training department.

Stephanie Clark, ATCStephanie Clark, ATC is the Athletic Trainer for Timberlane Regional Middle School.  Stephanie was previously an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Florida Gulf Coast University where she had the opportunity to care for a number of men’s and women’s collegiate level athletic teams.

At Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics, our physicians and staff are firmly committed to giving back to the community through numerous events and donations that benefit both local and national charitable organizations.  We encourage organizations in Plaistow and the surrounding communities to reach out to us with sponsorship opportunities.  If you see our athletic trainers or physicians at a game or practice, we encourage you to introduce yourself so that we can get to know you better.  If you ever have any questions, comments or concerns about our services, we welcome your feedback.  We are hopeful that this can be the beginning of a long relationship with the Timberlane Regional School District and we look forward to caring for your student athletes.
