Benjamin Thompson, MDDover, NH – Leading an active lifestyle can be difficult with osteoarthritis of the knee. It can make your favorite outdoor activities like walking or biking challenging, and may even decrease your ability to perform simple tasks like climbing the stairs.

Osteoarthritis most commonly occurs in people 50 or older and is due to “wear and tear” of the gliding surface of the knee joint. According to the Arthritis Foundation, more than 27 million people in the U.S. suffer from osteoarthritis, with the knee being one of the most commonly affected areas. While it is often the most common reason for joint replacement, there are non-surgical options.

Join Dr. Benjamin Thompson on Monday October 5th at 7:00pm at 19 Webb Place, Dover, NH for our free education series. Dr. Thompson will discuss knee osteoarthritis and how to manage its symptoms.

Attendees will enjoy complimentary refreshments and have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session.
